Accreditation as a Practitioner is only the beginning.
A Plain Numbers Practitioner is trained and accredited in the Plain Numbers Method, applying it to communications across regulated sectors including utilities, financial services and the public sector. Our team supports Practitioners throughout the partnership, advising and guiding every communication to reach the best possible customer understanding.
Unlimited communication support for Practitioners
Applying the Plain Numbers Method takes practice, and some communications present more of a challenge than others. Unlimited support on communications for Practitioners is a central element in all of our partnerships. Whether it’s a 15-minute sense check or a hands-on workshop to work through a complex document, our support is always there.
Dedicated Partnership Manager for customer understanding
As a Plain Numbers Partner, you’ll have a Partnership Manager who acts as your go-to expert on communications and on building a supportive, internal culture where customer understanding takes root. We know the method has the best chance of making lasting impact when it becomes part of how your organisation thinks – not just what your Practitioners do. Your partnership manager can also guide you towards achieving the Plain Numbers Mark – for communications which reach the highest standard in applying the Plain Numbers Method.

Practitioner development
Customer understanding skills development doesn’t stop when training ends. Practitioners have exclusive access to our Practitioner Zone via this website, packed with resources created by our team, providing the very latest behavioural science insights and best practice in communicating numbers and the language around them. They will also be able to attend webinars delivered by a broad range of subject matter experts and access annual refresher courses to sharpen their skills.
“The support and feedback from Plain Numbers is excellent. Their team are clearly very passionate about the role they play in helping people understand information. They not only explained what should be changed but also why. If there was a regulatory basis for the content, they’d help us work within that. They took on board our organsiation’s tone, brand and the functionality of our systems. Having an expert eye was invaluable.”
