Making customer understanding part of how your organisation works, across utilities, financial services and the public sector.
Not every member of your team needs to be a Practitioner, but awareness of the principles, and knowing what support is available for their role, makes a real difference to how well the method is embedded.
Awareness sessions that build customer understanding
Our awareness sessions introduce the Plain Numbers Method to the people in your organisation who need to understand it, but don’t need to train as a Practitioner. Typically 30 to 45 minutes, they can be delivered to your whole organisation, a specific team or a particular audience. This could be anyone from your leadership team to your customer support team, so the principles are known, valued and supported across your teams.
Toolkits and resources that support customer understanding
We can help you build practical resources tailored to your organisation, including toolkits, guidance notes and reference materials that sit alongside your existing approval processes, tone of voice guides and communications workflows. The goal is to make better customer communication easier to produce, and more consistently.
Champion workshops that spread customer understanding
Champions are advocates for clearer communication across your organisation. They build awareness of poor numeracy as a customer vulnerability and support your Practitioners in their work. We can deliver workshops that introduce the Plain Numbers Method, to build confidence in understanding the principles and help the method reach further than your trained Practitioners alone.
“It’s really helping us build a movement of people championing clear and simple communications, far beyond just traditional communications teams.”
– Claire Maskell Gibson, Senior Communications Manager, Bupa
