The Plain Numbers Mark is formal recognition that a communication has been independently assessed by our experts and meets the highest standard of clear communication for customer understanding.
When your communication carries the mark, it means information is presented as clearly as possible, making it easier for customers to make choices that are right for them. And when customers can make the right choices, that’s good for them and good for your business.
“The Plain Numbers team have been really easy to work with, offering helpful insights and advice on changes. They provide two categories of feedback: must do and nice to do. It feels very collaborative, with a shared goal of finding a way forward that delivers clarity for customers.”
— Plain Numbers Practitioner, Bupa
Getting your comms certified
Certification is the point in the partnership where their training and unlimited support come together – when your Practitioners have applied the method, refined their skills, and are ready to put their best work forward.
Our Plain Numbers experts review the communication against strict criteria. We’ll talk you through our recommendations, taking into account what you can and can’t change internally – it’s a collaborative process. Once your communication reaches the Plain Numbers standard and is signed off at your end, we’ll send you the mark to use on that specific communication.
Communications that can be certified include letters, emails, website pages, short videos and app screens. Whether you’re certifying a single communication or a full customer journey, we agree the scope with you upfront.
