Working together to improve financial wellbeing
The Money and Pensions Service is working with Plain Numbers to make money guidance more accessible.
We are delighted to announce a new partnership with the Money and Pensions Service (MaPS), an organisation that provides high-quality money and pensions guidance to help people improve their financial wellbeing. MaPS do this through the free and impartial website, MoneyHelper .
The collaboration begins with training MaPS team members to use the Plain Numbers Method – an evidence-based approach proven to double the number of people who understand a communication.
Beyond training, our partnership provides ongoing, unlimited support as the organisation applies these principles to their communications, making sure the numbers and language they use are as simple and understandable as possible.
“We’re delighted to be working with Plain Numbers to make our money guidance even more accessible to everyone.
“At MaPS we know that financial decisions can feel overwhelming, especially when they’re presented in complex ways. This partnership recognises that clear and simple communication isn’t just helpful – it's essential.
- Zoe Burns-Shore, Customer Delivery Executive Director at the Money and Pensions Service (MaPS)
