The Vanquis Banking Group become a Plain Numbers Partner

Vanquis Banking Group are the latest financial services organisation to join Plain Numbers as an Implementation Partner. Together, over the next three years, we will work on improving consumer outcomes with clear and understandable financial communications.

“We’re delighted to be launching a new partnership with Vanquis Banking Group. As the founding Chief Executive of both Plain Numbers and National Numeracy I am particularly excited that Vanquis Banking Group are the first to partner with both organisations at the same time. Working together, I’m confident Vanquis and Plain Numbers will help thousands of customers navigate their financial decisions with clarity.” - Mike Ellicock, Chief Executive, Plain Numbers

Key team members of the Vanquis Banking Group have already enthusiastically begun their Plain Numbers training. This Practitioner course brings to life the numerical struggles much of the public must contend with when making financial decisions. It also equips our Practitioners with the tools and strategies that ensure their communications can be sent out in Plain Numbers.  We know the way numbers are communicated can significantly improve consumer understanding and Plain Numbers will support Vanquis in implementing these changes over the next three years.

Vanquis Banking Group have made it clear that their education and inclusion strategy are at the forefront of their development goals. Recognising the societal challenges faced by many of their customers, Vanquis have fully committed to supporting people who struggle with numbers. As a longstanding supporter of the charity National Numeracy, they have now taken a further step by becoming a Plain Numbers Partner.

We at Plain Numbers are excited to be a part of this commitment and together we will help put people on a path to a better financial life.

“We’re delighted to team up with Plain Numbers to enhance how we communicate with customers who may struggle with numbers and interpreting financial information. We know that people who are not confident using numbers in their everyday lives can face challenges in managing their finances and budgeting for the future. And this can lead to anxiety and stress, especially in the current financial climate. At Vanquis Banking Group, we’re committed to ensuring that our customers understand their financial situation and the products we offer, and we look forward to working with Plain Numbers to make things even clearer for them.” – Rob Lawson, Head of Sustainability at Vanquis Banking Group
