Plain Numbers welcomes Fidelity International as an Implementation Partner

Fidelity International has become the latest financial services provider to join Plain Numbers as an Implementation Partner. Fidelity International will use the skills and knowledge gained during the Partnership to build the confidence of their workplace pension scheme clients and members as they engage with the products and investments.

“We’re delighted to be launching a new partnership with Fidelity International. We know that pensions are a crucial part of people’s financial future and therefore its essential that everything possible is done to help people understand the key information. Working together, I’m confident that Fidelity International and Plain Numbers will help thousands of customers achieve better outcomes.” - Mike Ellicock, Chief Executive Officer at Plain Numbers

Joining us on a three-year journey, Fidelity will work together with Plain Numbers to better support those who may struggle with numbers.

Key members across the Fidelity team have already started their Plain Numbers journey, starting with the Practitioner training course, where they are learning to better understand members’ vulnerabilities and how they will be able to communicate with them.

Plain Numbers will also support Fidelity with specific documents and communications, producing together a number of certified communication pieces. These will be used across the workplace investment business, enabling clients and members to understand and take control of their workplace and personal investments.

Dan Smith, Head of Workplace Distribution at Fidelity International, commented, “As a provider of workplace pensions to over half a million people in the UK, we understand that not everyone finds it as easy to engage with or understand their pensions as they would like to. We are committed to helping people get to grips with their personal finances and look forward to working closely with Plain Numbers to provide better member outcomes.”

Fidelity International is the ninth member of the Association of British Insurers to become a Plain Numbers Partner. The ABI has been one of our Advisory Partners since early 2022.
